Coolcentric Water Treatment

Proper treatment of the water in the secondary cooling loop is essential to ensure the performance and longevity of the Coolcentric data center equipment cooling solution. Using the building's regular water supply could be detrimental, by increasing the chances of scaling, corrosion and fouling in the system. Even deionized water without corrosion inhibitors is corrosive.

Coolcentric specially formulated water treatment solution maintains clean heat transfer surfaces and protects the system from downtime and reduced efficiency. When replacing the water treatment solution in Rear Door Heat Exchangers (RDHx), Coolcentric offers a cleaning fluid that can be used to flush out the RDHx coil, ensuring that the system is as clean as possible. Both the water treatment and cleaning fluid are available in ready-to-use kits in five-gallon (19-liter) or 55-gallon (209-liter) sizes, which make the filling and commissioning process simple.
